I am a Chicana artist who grew up in the Central Valley of California. My studies in Chican@ literature at UC Santa Barbara and San Diego State University greatly influenced my outlook as a Chicana and as an artist. My scholarly work and creative writing both helped me to experiment with different artistic mediums, leading to my unique style.
